Annotation, segmentation: Gábor Olaszy (BME TMIT, Hungary) and Kálmán Abari (Debrecen University, Institute of Psychology, Hungary) 2013-2014.

Speakers: 5 female and 5 male adults, having Hungarian mother tongue, living in Budapest, and having different profession: teacher, actor, administrator, researcher, engineer, etc.).

Recordings: Each speaker read the same sentence corpus in a professional studio of BME with 44 kHz/16 bit.

Goal: The authors aim was to create a database containing indirect data representing the Hungarian articulation during speaking. The representation comes from the resonance frecuency (RF) data of the oral vocal tract in the function of speech sounds. The resonance frequencies show indirectly the continuous articulation and through the data one can follow the effects of coartikculation, the characteristics of articulation places of consonants and vowels. The resonance data are given in Hz. Thanks to the manual, visual control and correction, all data are practically error free.
